Botanical Tour “Plants & Wildflowers”

An excellent tour for those who love plants and wish to observe Madeira Island wildflowers and learn the botanical evolution and colonisation of this Island.

Visit several botanical communities and learn about a journey that began almost 100 million years ago and ended with early settlers and the native species they have exploited.

Due to changeable weather and altitude variations we recommend polar fleece and windbreaker jackets, hat, outdoor shoes or boots. Sunglasses, sunscreen and water are also advised for all tours.
