A beautiful canyon with various possibilities for (high) jumps. Highest rappel 25 meters and a nice levada walk to get in and out of the canyon.
This canyon is near São Vincente on the north coast inside the laurel forest and has technical rappels up to 60 meters.
Our journey starts in an almost desolated village at the north side of the island. We will go through various rappels (highest 55 meters!) and with one or two jumps in the end we will reach the sea level.
4 different rappels varying in altitude up to 17 meters, 2 small slides and 2 small jumps (optional).
Easy tour: Suitable for beginners, but take note of a steep 45 minutes walk to get to the beginning of the canyon.
The canyon has 4-6 rappels depending on water level up to 16 meters. A few jumps will not be missed.
